CEO Facebook Mark Zuckerberg pada hari Kamis (28/10) mengubah nama perusahaannya menjadi Meta Platforms Inc., atau Meta. Perubahan nama itu merupakan stategi Facebook dalam melebarkan sayap di luar jejaring sosial dan mengembangkan dunia virtual yang disebut metaverse.
Tetapi Zuckerberg dan timnya bukanlah satu-satunya visioner teknologi yang memiliki gagasan tentang bagaimana pembentukan metaverse, yang akan menggunakan campuran realitas virtual dan teknologi lainnya. Metaverse juga menimbulkan sejumlah kekhawatiran, karena terbentuknya dunia baru yang terintegrasi dengan raksasa media sosial yang semakin membuka risiko pengeksposan lebih banyak data pribadi dan kegagalan untuk menghentikan penyebaran informasi yang salah dan bahaya online lainnya yang berbahaya dan berpotensi memperburuk masalah di dunia nyata.
Zuckerberg menggambarkan metaverse sebagai lingkungan virtual yang bisa dimasuki, bukan hanya dilihat melalui layar gawai. Technology today is evolving at such a rapid pace, enabling faster change and progress, causing an acceleration of the rate of change, until eventually, it will become exponential. However, it is not only technology trends and top technologies that are evolving, a lot more has changed this year due to the outbreak of COVID-19 making IT professionals realize that their role will not stay the same in the contactless world tomorrow. How can you use Twitter hashtags to create a better message? Well, this past March I had a wonderful vacation in Mexico. We were enjoying the resort’s pool when my significant other and I finished our cervezas. I tried teaching her the key Spanish words to use in Mexico, so SHE tried to order this round of cervezas – “dos cervezas con lime”. The bartender returned with “dos cervezas con limon?” and her response was “no, lime” … and so round and round it went like a 3 Stooges skit! She tried her hardest to get the message across, but just was not using the right language or term.
Here are four considerations when trying to find the best hashtag for your B2B Twitter messaging.
